Purchase terms, withdrawal and statutory conformity rights

Before buying

These terms cover sales of spare parts by MotopartsOnline to consumers. Business purchases have their own legal regime. Before payment, the seller, item, condition, disclosed defects, total price, applicable taxes, delivery charges, payment method and delivery timing must be clear. Keep the purchase confirmation. Ask us about compatibility before buying if needed; this does not remove the seller's conformity obligations.

Withdrawal from distance purchases

Consumers normally have 14 calendar days from receiving the goods to communicate withdrawal without giving a reason. Send a clear statement to info@motopartsonline.es. Prior approval or a specific form is not required.

Return the item within 14 calendar days after that communication. Payments, including ordinary initial delivery, are refunded within 14 calendar days after notification. Refunds may be withheld until receipt of the goods or proof of return, unless we offer collection. The original payment method is used unless a different cost-free method is expressly agreed.

Consumers bear direct return costs only if informed before contracting. For goods not normally returnable by post, the cost or a reasonable estimate must be disclosed beforehand. Additional charges for premium delivery chosen over ordinary delivery need not be refunded. Excessive handling beyond what is necessary to examine the item may result in liability for diminished value.

Only applicable statutory exceptions apply. Used, electrical or electronic parts are not automatically excluded. Failure to give the required withdrawal information may extend the statutory period.

Legal conformity rights

The general statutory responsibility period for consumer goods is three years from delivery. For used goods, an expressly agreed shorter period cannot be less than one year. Used status alone does not automatically shorten the period.

Legal remedies include repair or replacement where possible and proportionate, and price reduction or termination where applicable. Necessary conformity remedies and transport are free of charge. Ordinary wear consistent with the disclosed condition is not automatically a defect; installation alone does not create a blanket exclusion of legal rights.

Contact and complaints

Email info@motopartsonline.es with the order, item and issue. Applicable statutory complaint deadlines and access to public consumer services and competent courts remain available. Mandatory rights are not waived.

Withdrawal statement

You may send: “I withdraw from the purchase of [item], order [number], received on [date]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Notification date: [date].” Keep a copy and contact us to coordinate the return address; prior approval is not a condition of exercising your right.
